Introduction
For over 60 years,
Executive Women International® (EWI) has been a visionary organization dedicated
to the personal and professional growth of business professionals and their firms. Membership
with EWI creates opportunities for international networking, cutting edge programming,
leadership development and community involvement. Today's business professionals have
found that EWI provides a needed forum for professional development and lifelong
learning.
Our member firms
benefit from EWI membership through the involvement of their representatives
as they network, achieve recognition as business leaders in their communities
and enjoy access to an international business base. Member firms also enjoy
unique opportunities to publicize their firm locally and internationally.
Today 3,000 firms
and 3,500 representatives are members of EWI in over 75 chapters located in major
cities in the United States, Canada and Europe. EWI is the premier organization
for networking and leadership development for today's business professionals
and their firms. Let EWI be your connection to business professionals around the world.
Mission
Executive Women
International® brings together key individuals from diverse businesses for the
purpose of:
- Promoting member
firms
- Enhancing personal
and professional development
- Encouraging
community involvement
Structure
EWI is a membership
association organized into chapters located in major cities in the United States,
Canada and Europe. Local firms from diverse industries join the local chapter
and designate up to three key individuals to serve as representatives for the
company and to be active participants in the chapter. Representatives can serve
on chapter boards, committees and community projects. Leadership opportunities
extend to service on the corporate board and corporate committees. The volunteer
corporate board is elected by the membership and serves one-year terms. The
corporate office staff, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, provides membership,
marketing and public relations services as well as administrative support to
the entire organization.
FAQ's
How do I join?
Fill out the membership
referral form. You will be contacted regarding your interest in our chapter.
Membership is by invitation from our chapter membership.
Can an individual join?
No. Memberships are held by the firm, who then designates up to three key individuals
to be the representatives for the firm and to be the active participants in
the EWI organization.
What if there is not a chapter in my area, can my firm still join?
If there is not a chapter in your area, your firm could still be a participant
in EWI through a class of membership called member-at-large. Although more limited
in the possibilities for networking than in a traditional chapter, a member-at-large
would still be able to attend other chapters' meetings and attend the regional
and international seminars and conferences that are offered. If you are interested
in this class of membership, please follow the link above for Membership Referral
and fill out the online referral form.
